When can I get Shard?
The new Shard plugin is coming soon. There is no announced release date or installation link yet.
What is Shard?
An AI assistant being built as a Roblox Studio plugin. It works with scripts and instances in the place you have open and reports its tool activity in the chat.
Which models will it use?
The current build includes API-key providers, Codex and Claude Code integrations, and hosted-model support. The final launch catalog and availability are still to be confirmed.
Can I undo changes?
Script and instance tools record named Studio undo steps. One task can contain several steps. External actions and background work from code execution may not be reversible.
Does it playtest for me?
The current tools work in edit mode. Shard does not press Play or prove gameplay works; you playtest the result.
Can I steer a task while it runs?
The current build lets you queue a follow-up or steer it into the task at the next request boundary. Stop ends the run without rolling back changes already made.
Can I attach an image?
Image attachments are not supported in the current build. No release date for that capability has been announced.
Is my project processed only on my computer?
No. The plugin stores chats and preferences locally, but relevant conversation and tool content is processed through Shard services and the selected AI provider. See the privacy draft.

Shard is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.
