Built around your place.

Explore the tools and workflows being built into Shard for Roblox Studio.

Read first. Then make changes.

Shard can search scripts and objects, inspect their properties, and read current script source before editing. Its script tools check whether source has changed since it was read.

Work with existing scripts or create new ones. Create, update, rename, move and delete instances through Studio tools. Each tool reports what happened in the chat.

Follow the work as it happens.

Tool activity, script diffs and agent conversations help you review a task. Answer text can stream as it arrives, or appear once the response is complete.

Keep talking while it works.

Send a follow-up into the queue, or use Steer to bring it into the current task at the next request boundary. Stop ends the run; it does not roll back changes already made.

Give a larger task a team.

When agents are enabled and you ask for a team, Shard can split the work into separate conversations. Agents coordinate ownership of scripts and objects, and report back to the lead.

Use workflows built for Roblox.

Built-in skills guide tasks such as gameplay, physics, interfaces, data stores, debugging, terrain and lighting. Choose a skill with a slash command, or let Shard load relevant guidance.

Review, undo and playtest.

Script and instance tools record named steps in Studio’s undo history. A task may create several steps. Code execution can also have external or background effects that Undo cannot reverse.

Shard works in edit mode. You still playtest the result and decide whether it works for your game.
